Company Profile
* Our client is a global manufacturing company with over 70 years of history. Japan is their largest market in Asia, and the team is stable with low turnover. This is a new position created as part of their expansion plan.
The Role
* Manage financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements and reports.
* Take on leadership for accounting in the APAC region over time.
* Handle daily accounting tasks (AP/AR, general ledger, invoicing, bank accounts, forecasting, inventory, and fixed assets).
* Oversee month-end and year-end closings.
* Manage ad hoc accounting projects, including regulatory compliance.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with teams to ensure financial accuracy.
Your Skills
* 5 years of accounting and finance experience in a global organization.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS and JGAAP).
* Ability to work independently and at the same time collaborate as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
