    This role is purely analytical and commercial, with no standard accounting duties involved.     The Role

    As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic growth. This role is predominantly focusing on OPEX and CAPEX cost-out efficiencies. The right candidate should have extensive experience in improving margin through cost optimisation programs, particularly around staffing and labour modelling.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Collaborating with commercial managers, operational stakeholders, finance leads, and strategy teams on a portfolio of strategic initiatives
    • Monitoring and tracking the progress of strategic initiatives, presenting monthly performance insights and results to senior executives
    • Evaluating, analysing, and presenting margin improvement opportunities to operational stakeholders and finance leadership
    • Conducting monthly P&L and general ledger analysis to support informed decision-making
    • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting cycles, and financial planning processes
    • Performing ad-hoc financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business needs

    This role is highly flexible and requires on-office days only 1-2 days a week in a central CBD office with parking.

    Your Skills and Experience

    • CPA or CA qualification, with Big-4 experience highly valued
    • Proven track record of driving financial value through cost-cutting measures and profit-maximising initiatives
    • At least 2 years' experience as a senior financial analyst or finance business partner
    • Experience with three-way modelling and working in industries with large labour inputs/costs is an advantage
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Outstanding business analysis capabilities
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics
