· Oversee all accounting tasks related to international operations, ensuring adherence to local laws and financial reporting standards.
· Perform reconciliations for the general ledger, post journal entries, and manage monthly accruals.
· Conduct bank reconciliations.
· Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
· Maintain the general ledger, including all intercompany and clearing accounts.
· Prepare financial statements and assist with audits and financial assessments.
· Oversee the generation and analysis of A/P and A/R reports, including invoicing, payment collections, and follow-ups to ensure prompt transactions.
· Handle tax preparation and filings.
· Conduct financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
· Compile month-end reports and support leadership in closing financial periods.
· Perform data entry, maintain records, and carry out other administrative tasks as needed.
· A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a senior accounting or management role
· Experience managing employees is preferred
· Relevant post-secondary education in business/accounting. CPA designation considered an asset but not required
· Accounting experience from the hospitality and/or retail sector is preferred
