A downtown client of Robert Half is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support, networks, printers, servers, and VMware. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide IT support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and printers.
Configure, monitor, and optimize network performance to ensure minimal downtime.
Maintain and support VMware environments, including virtual machines and associated infrastructure.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed.
Assist in IT security implementations and ensure compliance with best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years experience in IT administration, troubleshooting, and system administration.
Hands-on experience with networks, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting printers and server environments.
Experience with VMware, including virtualization setup, management, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.
