Marketing automation specialists work with marketing automation and email automation tools and should understand social media marketing. Excellent communication, organizational, project management and critical-thinking skills, as well as a strong attention to detail, are required for this position. Working knowledge of HTML and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or computer science are often preferred.
