We are in search of a Sr. Director, Public Relations to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you'll focus on clients in the social impact and B2B sectors, acting as a client partnership lead and managing team efforts. You'll be an integral part of our public relations, creator relations, and social media practice, and your work will contribute significantly to our full-service advertising agency's success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the financial health of client partnerships, including the development of SOWs, staffing plans, and budget tracking.
• Develop tailored public relations strategies based on the understanding of client’s business objectives, target audiences, and competitive landscape.
• Assume responsibility for client partnerships and account teams, which may involve managing 3-5 client partnerships simultaneously.
• Act as an executive counselor and trusted advisor, providing real-time problem-solving support, especially during crisis situations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, such as strategy, performance analytics, creative, production, business leadership, and program management, to create and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns.
• Regularly monitor and report on performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement crisis communication strategies as required.
• Foster strong relationships with media and excel at building successful earned media plans.
• Represent the public relations practice in integrated meetings and new business pitches.
• Work closely with the SVP/PR practice lead to identify department opportunities and drive new business growth.
• Manage a small team of direct reports, nurturing their career growth and development.
• Contribute actively to a collaborative, high-performance, and inclusive agency culture.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Public Relations or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
• Familiarity with Canva and Constant Contact for creating and managing marketing campaigns
• Proven experience in creating and managing advertisements across various platforms
• Exceptional blogging skills to enhance brand visibility and engagement
• Demonstrated ability to increase brand awareness through strategic initiatives
• Experience in campaign planning and execution with demonstrated successful outcomes
• Strong crisis communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and mitigate potential PR crises.
