SALARY: Up to $120,000 K
This is a Permanent Direct Hire DIRECTOR OF IT / CIO onsite in Lincoln NE. We are looking for a TECHNICAL LEADER who can move the needle forward with a $6M Tech Budget!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role such as Director of IT, CIO, or equivalent.
MODERNIZE TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES on a technology budget. Foster collaboration with staff, and stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
CURRENT Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of enterprise IT systems, cybersecurity practices, data analytics, data governance, and cloud technology. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends
IT Budget direct experience
Proven track record of Direct Reports and Developing Staff. You must have Technical enough skills to UPSKILL a Technical Team.
Prior Infrastructure & Application Development experience – Current Technical skills with VMware, server support / Windows, O365, and SAN Storage, PLUS Networking including Cisco Switches & Routers
Data analytics and Business Intelligence Tools
Leadership Skills: Track record to lead and motivate teams, manage large-scale IT projects, and support cross-functional initiatives. “Servant” communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners.
DIRECTOR OF IT / CIO You must have Current Technical Infrastructure experience, Technical current hands on skills in both Server infrastructure, and previous Direct report experience. You will be on the Front Lines working to improve technology for the business, Drive Solutions for the business, and you will be a difference maker in working with the business and leading the business operations from a Strategic & Technical standpoint!
This is not just a management position, you will be on the front-lines of business operations and need to be able to be comfortable ‘In the Weeds’ / Technical Day to Day of the IT organization, being hands-on at times.
