Our client is seeking a full time/direct hire Marketing Analyst to join their team on site in Atlanta, GA.
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Analyst with deep technical expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a dynamic advertising agency background who is passionate about driving effective marketing campaigns through detailed data analysis and actionable insights. The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for leveraging GA4 to set up properties, configure events, track conversions, and deliver high-quality custom reports. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency with UTM tracking, Google Tag Manager implementation, and communication of complex data discoveries to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Google Analytics 4 Expertise:
- Set up and configure GA4 properties, ensuring accurate data collection and integrity.
- Design and implement custom events and conversion tracking to align with campaign goals (Source: Robert Half Marketing & Creative Guide).
- Build custom reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics such as acquisition, engagement, and monetization trends.
- UTM and Conversion Tracking:
- Generate precise UTM parameters to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Configure goals and conversions in GA4 to measure campaign success accurately.
- Data Analysis and Insights:
- Extract actionable insights from GA4 reports, such as acquisition paths, user engagement, churn rates, and monetization behavior.
- Surface data-driven recommendations to improve marketing strategies and campaign ROI
- Translate technical findings into simplified, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Google Tag Manager Implementation:
- Set up and manage tracking tags using Google Tag Manager for seamless integration with GA4.
- Troubleshoot tag and tracking issues to optimize data collection.
- Visualization and Reporting:
- Create impactful data visualizations using Google Data Studio to present findings and trends.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to deliver reports that meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Google Analytics 4, specifically within an advertising agency setting.
- Proficiency in using GA4 for event configuration, creating dashboards, and reporting on acquisition, engagement, and monetization data (Source: Robert Half Methodology Overview).
- Strong command of Google Tag Manager for tag creation and tracking setups.
- Expertise in UTM parameter generation and conversion tracking.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple campaigns.
