Job Title: Multimedia Designer (Video, Motion Graphics, 3D)
Contract Length: 1 Year (Potential for extension to 2 years or conversion to full-time)
Schedule: 4 Days Onsite (Monday-Thursday preferred)
Location: Near Midtown/Buckhead, Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Multimedia Designer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video production, motion graphics, and 3D design. You will be responsible for creating engaging and visually stunning content for a variety of platforms, contributing to our brand's visual storytelling. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Video Production: Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing, social media, and internal communications.
- Manage all aspects of video production, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual style across all video projects.
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
- Motion Graphics: Create compelling motion graphics and animations for videos, presentations, and digital platforms.
- Design and animate text, graphics, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Develop storyboards and style frames to communicate design concepts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest motion graphics trends and techniques.
- 3D Design (Optional but Highly Desired):Create 3D models, animations, and visualizations for product demos, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Utilize 3D software to design and render realistic and stylized 3D assets.
- Integrate 3D elements into video and motion graphics projects.
- Work with 3D rendering and compositing workflows.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all created media maintains the company's established brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in video production, motion graphics, and 3D design (if applicable).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of video production workflows and post-production techniques.
- Experience with 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya (highly desired).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of multimedia design skills.
- Ability to work onsite 4 days a week.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with sound design and audio editing.
- Knowledge of color grading and correction.
- Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) content creation.
- Experience with camera tracking and matchmoving.
- Experience with content management systems.
