    We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in LAN, WAN, and Firewall (Security) administration to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and securing network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, configure, and maintain LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) infrastructure.
    • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances to protect network resources.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Implement network security policies, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access controls.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3-5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on LAN, WAN, and security.
    • Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or similar).
    • Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel).
    • Experience with VPNs, SD-WAN, MPLS, and wireless networking.
    • Familiarity with network security best practices, IDS/IPS, and access control mechanisms.
    • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network and security incidents.
    • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or equivalent are a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
    • Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Ansible) for network automation.
    • Knowledge of zero-trust architecture and security frameworks.
