We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of defense litigation experience to join a top-tier law firm in Atlanta. This role requires a strong background in insurance defense, with a preference for professional liability and coverage litigation. Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and summarize legal documents.
Conduct legal research on cases, businesses, and individuals.
Develop strategic defenses and evaluate cases.
Manage client meetings and provide legal recommendations.
Investigate facts, prepare and conduct depositions.
Draft and argue motions, conduct hearings and mediations.
Prepare witnesses and corporate representatives for trial.
Assist in trial and appellate court briefing.
Draft defense mediation summaries and legal analyses.

Qualifications:

Active Georgia Bar membership in good standing.
4-6 years of defense litigation experience; professional liability or coverage litigation a plus.
Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Client-focused approach with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Ability to review and interpret financial records is a plus.
