    Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    - Reviewing trial balances and preparation of accounting adjustments as needed to comply with tax accounting

    • Reading lease agreements to determine proper accounting treatment

    • Analyzing expenditures to determine proper capitalization under tax law

    • Tracing interest

    • Maintaining depreciation schedules

    • Partnership allocations

    • Preparing workpapers as needed to support the Tax accounting.

    • Degree in Accounting, Finance & related area of study
    • 1+ year of public accounting (tax) experience OR large company corporate tax experience (will also consider new grads with tax internships)
    • Experience with Partnership tax (1065)
    • Strong experience working with work papers
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Preferred experience with CCH / Prosystem Fx
    • Accounting skills to include creating/making entries in the trial balance.
