    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to assist with our local clients on a contract basis . The ideal candidate will be responsible for computing, calculating and recording financial transactions to ensure our company’s finances are accurate and up to date.

    Responsibilities Include:

    1. Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
    2. Reconciling sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
    3. Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
    4. Processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    5. Conducting regular ledger maintenance.
    6. Maintaining company's financial information confidentially.
    7. Confirming compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
    8. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.

    Qualifications:

    1. Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field. A BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
    2. 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
    3. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles.
    4. Proficiency in using accounting software, database applications, spreadsheets, and other financial tools.
    5. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in conducting financial inspections.
    6. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and discretion.
    7. Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
    8. Must be familiar with and have experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
