    Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking an attorney to join their busy practice in Fall River, MA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive legal environment, providing clients with high-quality immigration legal services. 


    Location: Fall River, MA

    Role: Immigration Attorney

    Comp Package: $100,000 - $130,000 (DOE)

    Schedule: On site, but after 90 days it's 4 days in office / 1 day remote


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal counsel and representation to corporate clients on business immigration matters, including non-immigrant visas (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN) and immigrant visa petitions (e.g., EB-2, EB-3, PERM).
    • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on immigration matters including family-based immigration, employment-based petitions, adjustment of status, asylum applications, naturalization, deportation defense, and more.
    • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents (e.g., I-130, I-485, H-1B, I-765, I-589, etc.).
    • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for individual employees and corporate clients.
    • Advise businesses on compliance with immigration laws, including I-9 requirements, E-Verify, and compliance with federal regulations for foreign workers.
    • Assist employers with workforce planning and strategies for hiring and retaining foreign nationals.
    • Manage a high volume of business immigration cases, ensuring timely preparation and filing of applications and petitions.
    • Handle complex immigration cases, including waivers, appeals, and motions to reopen/reconsider

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Active member of the Massachusetts Bar, in good standing.
    • 2+ years of experience practicing immigration law (business immigration is a HUGE plus).
    • Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a HUGE plus.
    • Strong knowledge of federal immigration law and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing a large caseload.
