This role will be crucial in constructing and managing a comprehensive Data Quality program across our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with enhancing data governance, mitigating risk, and improving data accessibility. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and requires an experienced individual who can effectively liaise between the Business Technology (BT), analytics, and governance teams, drive enterprise alignment, and execute a multi-year roadmap in alignment with ongoing integration initiatives.


    Responsibilities


    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current data quality landscape, pinpointing challenges and identifying areas for improvement.

    • Develop, implement, and scale an all-encompassing Data Quality framework that transitions from a limited critical data elements (CDE) focus to a more holistic program.

    • Collaborate with various business units to identify gaps in data quality oversight and establish a federated model for enterprise-wide data quality ownership.

    • Initiate feedback loops across the organization to integrate data quality assessments into operational and analytical data flows.

    • Act as a strategic bridge between Business Technology (BT) and Data Analytics teams, ensuring that data quality is proactively embedded in operational data sources.

    • Align enterprise data quality initiatives with regulatory expectations by partnering with Second Line Risk, Compliance, and Data Governance teams.

    • Address data availability, data accessibility, and data quality risks in alignment with enterprise data risk management priorities.

    • Lead a team of operational data quality detail oriented individuals, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy.

    • Foster a unified data quality approach by leading engagement with Critical Data Governance programs, data stewards, and BT owners.
