    Our client is a prominent law firm seeking a highly motivated, experienced Estate Planning & Trust Administration Attorney to join their team. This position will handle all forms of estate planning, probate, and trust administration. The successful candidate will also preferably have experience with estate and gift tax planning.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies.
    Develop and implement estate plans, wills and trusts, powers of attorney, and all estate documents.
    Administer probates and trusts, including managing assets, preparation of accountings, and making distributions.
    Interpret wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
    Handle estate, gift and income tax matters including planning, analysis, and return preparation.
    Research and analyze complex legal issues in trust and estate law.
    Manage and maintain client relationships, actively promoting provisions for changing laws and tax regulations.
    Communicate with clients and third parties such as court officials, trustees, and appraisers.
    Use sophisticated software for tax planning and preparation.

    Requirements:

    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    Current license to practice law in the state.
    Minimum of three years’ experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
    Experience in preparing and filing Federal Estate Tax Returns preferred.
    Strong understanding of related tax and financial planning.
    Ability to handle a large magnitude of complex tasks and projects.
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong inter-personal communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and team members.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    Outstanding negotiation skills to resolve issues and conflicts.
    Proficiency in drafting estate planning, trust, and probate documents.
    Knowledge of legal principles and practices at a level normally acquired through formal paralegal or legal training.
