    We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join a prominent firm in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves supporting attorneys in the field of Civil Litigation, offering an opportunity to contribute to a variety of areas within the legal industry. This position can sit on a hybrid basis but does require in-office time.


    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive litigation support to 2 to 3 attorneys

    • Manage scheduling and calendaring requirements for the team

    • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of e-filing tasks

    • Maintain a supportive role in a variety of litigation areas

    • Keep track of and update client records and case details regularly.

    • Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
    • Proficiency in Civil Litigation is essential
    • Possession of a relevant degree or certification in Law or similar fields is necessary
    • Demonstrable experience in legal research and documentation is required
    • Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is necessary
    • Sound knowledge of legal terminologies and procedures is required
    • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential
    • Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Familiarity with court procedures and protocols is a plus.
