    We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Columbus, Ohio. Working within the sales industry, you will be tasked with maintaining customer records, processing applications, and resolving queries. Your role will require you to work closely with various teams and clients to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction.


    Responsibilities:


    • Efficiently manage customer orders, including receiving, entering, and editing for accurate pricing and shipping costs.

    • Handle customer inquiries in a detail-oriented manner, including those from irate customers.

    • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding order status and product knowledge.

    • Maintain and update the customer name and address database, and open new client accounts.

    • Communicate with customers regarding shipment delays or any information necessary to process orders.

    • Work closely with Sales Representatives, Drivers, Distribution and Service Managers to resolve issues and conflicts related to orders.

    • Solicit sales of additional products from clients to complete truck orders.

    • Process customer returns according to established procedures.

    • Collect customer feedback and report it to relevant management personnel.

    • Ensure all work conforms to safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.

    • Proficient in answering inbound calls and handling customer inquiries
    • Prior experience in a call center customer service environment
    • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
    • Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
    • Proficiency in email correspondence, ensuring timely and detail oriented responses
    • Experience with both inbound and outbound calls
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
    • Experience with order entry and order management
    • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars
    • Experience in coordinating logistics for product delivery and distribution
    • Understanding of logistics and distribution processes
    • Experience in logistics and distribution sector is a plus
