As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for converting data into user-friendly databases, gathering user requirements, and implementing cloud technologies to enhance data process and reporting efficiency.


    Responsibilities:


    • Convert data from air table and spreadsheets into simple databases

    • Gather and analyze user requirements to tailor the database to their needs

    • Implement cloud-based SaaS to improve data process efficiency

    • Utilize SQL for database management and manipulation

    • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting

    • Implement AB testing to ensure the efficiency of the database

    • Leverage Cloud Technologies for robust and scalable database systems.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Database Developer

    • Proficiency in SQL, with a solid understanding of its various applications.

    • Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Technologies, with the ability to implement and manage cloud-based database systems.

    • Experience with AB Testing, with a focus on optimizing database performance.

    • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and techniques.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in relation to data analysis and manipulation.

    • Experience in writing and understanding User Stories, translating them into practical database solutions.

    • Familiarity with Airtable, with the ability to leverage its features for effective database management.

    • Skilled in gathering and interpreting User Requirements, ensuring that the database meets all specified needs.

    • Ability to create Customized Reports based on various data sets, aiding in data interpretation and decision-making processes.

Pay up to $20/hr. <br><br>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>Work closely with the Pupil Accounting Coordinator to assist and maintain that all data is complete for state reporting<br>Assist in maintaining current and accurate student and family information in the District’s<br>Student Management Systems database<br>Assist with Special Education data for all collections<br>Assist district office professionals at the building level with technical support and training for timely and accurate reporting for counts <br>Maintain complete and accurate records<br>Organize work, set priorities, work under pressure and meet firm deadlines as given by Pupil<br>Accounting Coordinator or Department Director<br>Experience and proficiency with PowerSchool and all state reporting fields.<br>Experience with MSDS, CEPI, and other state reporting sites<br>Assist other areas of the department during peak season<br>Perform other duties as assigned<br><br>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:<br>High School diploma or equivalent plus additional training<br>3+ years, K-12 school setting preferred<br>Ability to work with confidential information and maintain confidentiality<br>Data management experience<br>Experience and proficiency with PowerSchool, Microsoft Office, Google Apps<br>Sheets, Docs, and Forms<br>Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet firm deadlines<br>Ability to communicate effectively by phone or in-person with the general public and all levels of personnel<br>Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an environment of continual and competing deadlines.<br>Ability to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.<br>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse teams and individuals.
