Robert Half is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing/Estimator to support our project teams and procurement operations.

Estimating Duties:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare and present accurate and timely project cost estimates.
Assist project managers and sales teams with pricing and budgeting strategies.

Purchasing Duties:

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Track purchase orders and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, delivery, or quality.

Proven experience in estimating and purchasing
Strong understanding of cost analysis, bid evaluation, and procurement practices.
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating/purchasing software (e.g., Procore, Builder trend, Sage, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
