    Responsibilities:


    • Efficiently manage employee leave programs such as FMLA, ADA, parental leave, short-term disability, and other company-provided leaves.

    • Act as the primary liaison for employees regarding leave requests, eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes.

    • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.

    • Maintain confidentiality while handling leave records, tracking employee absences and coordinating with payroll and benefits teams.

    • Offer guidance to managers and employees on leave-related policies and accommodations.

    • Assist in the conduct of employee relations investigations, gathering documentation, and making recommendations for resolutions.

    • Collaborate with management to provide guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace policies.

    • Work with corporate legal counsel and compliance teams regarding employment matters such as unemployment, EEOC, SCHAC, etc.

    • Update the Employee Manual content to align with current labor law.

    • Oversee unemployment insurance processes and monitor program costs.

    • Maintain HR and OPS Employee Relations database, files and perform administrative functions during investigations.

    • Partner with the Director of Employee Engagement to develop and implement HR fundamentals including policies and procedures to assist in supporting the mission & vision.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry
    • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
    • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
    • Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
    • Knowledge of various Benefit Functions
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
    • Proven experience in managing Employee Relations
    • Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations
