    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the litigation industry, with our workplace located in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will handle a wide range of responsibilities, including managing client interactions, preparing legal documents, conducting research, and handling court proceedings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle a large docket of personal injury cases, including small to catastrophic damage models and medical malpractice cases
    • Conduct extensive legal research and prepare comprehensive briefings
    • Manage client intake process, ensuring a detail oriented and efficient experience
    • Lead negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies
    • Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, and motions for court proceedings
    • Review correspondence, answer responses, and assess motions in the context of ongoing cases
    • Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, insurance companies, and other third parties
    • Prepare deponents and conduct depositions effectively
    • Handle mediations and prepare for hearings, ensuring effective representation for clients
    • Conduct trials, with the expectation to first-chair jury trials within six months
    • Use client intake software and Microsoft Office Suite for case management and document creation.
    • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience working as an attorney/lawyer.
    • Proficiency in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat for legal document preparation and management.
    • Must have experience in using Case Management Software for efficient handling of legal cases.
    • Knowledge of Conveyancer software for managing real estate transactions is required.
    • Expertise in Document Management including drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents.
    • Must have experience in Briefing teams, clients, or other relevant parties about case details.
    • Experience in Civil Litigation, handling disputes between parties in a court of law.
    • Must have experience in Claim Administration, managing and processing insurance claims or similar transactions.
    • Proficiency in Complaint Handling, addressing and resolving client issues effectively.
    • Experience in the Consumer Electronics sector, dealing with legal issues related to electronic products and services.
