    We are searching for an Associate Creative Director of Copy to lead creative initiatives while contributing directly to exceptional work. This player-coach role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on creativity, perfect for a visionary copywriter skilled at guiding teams and developing standout narratives. You will partner closely with Art Directors, Strategists, Account leads, and clients to craft compelling copy across diverse platforms—from integrated campaigns to thought leadership content. In this role, you will help elevate creative standards while ensuring all work aligns with brand voice, resonates with target audiences, and achieves business objectives.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and oversee a team of writers and cross-functional creatives while fostering collaboration and innovation in the creative process.
    • Creative Development: Lead copy efforts across key accounts, setting the creative direction and tone of voice for projects. Develop long- and short-form copy that delivers strategic clarity and emotional resonance.
    • Client-Ready Content: Produce high-quality copy with minimal oversight, requiring few edits or revisions, and present work confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Brand Strategy: Translate business objectives and brand strategies into clear messaging tailored to diverse media formats, including digital, print, social, experiential, and video.
    • Brand Voice Adherence: Ensure creative work adheres to established brand conventions, including tone, style, industry-specific language, and legal requirements.
    • Creative Collaboration: Partner with Art Directors, Designers, and Strategy teams to deliver cohesive and integrated concepts across all touch points.
    • Creative Feedback: Provide constructive input during reviews to elevate quality and ensure projects meet Unleaded’s high standards for written deliverables.
    • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on cultural trends, industry shifts, and emerging platforms to ensure creative work remains fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.



    • Experience: 8+ years in copywriting or content strategy, with 3+ years in a leadership or senior creative role; specifically within B2B
    • Skills: Exceptional ability to craft compelling long- and short-form copy, with attention to detail in brand voice and messaging. Proficiency across diverse formats (e.g., digital campaigns, print, video scripts, and experiential design).
    • Leadership: Experience mentoring creative teams, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving creative excellence.
    • Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to articulate creative rationale confidently to stakeholders and clients.
    • Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with a genuine curiosity about industry trends, cultural movements, and creative innovation.
