    Software Application Engr V We are offering a contract for a Software Application Engineer V position in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be expected to plan, conduct, and coordinate a wide range of business programming applications activities in fields such as finance, human resources, and marketing. <br><br>Responsibilities <br><br>• Conduct and prepare feasibility studies for new data processing applications or revisions to current systems.<br>• Establish programming standards and program documentation requirements.<br>• Review the current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for system improvements.<br>• Prepare system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.<br>• Monitor design processes and prepare reports on system projects.<br>• Handle customer inquiries, process applications, and maintain accurate customer records.<br>• Manage the efforts of other Software Design Engineers to ensure system performance requirements are met.<br>• Oversee the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of major projects.<br>• Establish operational objectives and assignments, delegating tasks to subordinate staff as necessary.<br>• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.<br>• Serve as a key resource for finding solutions to project problems that could potentially derail the project.
