    We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Benefits Specialist in MEMPHIS, Tennessee. This role is centered around the administration and interpretation of benefits laws, ensuring compliance, handling LOA and FMLA, and providing customer service to employees.


    Responsibilities:


    • Interpret and apply knowledge of various benefits laws including FMLA, Paid Sick Leave Laws, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and ADA.

    • Handle the approval and denial process for state assigned leave of absence requests and return to work forms, ensuring FMLA eligibility.

    • Maintain compliance with all relevant benefit laws, policies, and procedures.

    • Act as the primary point of escalation for customer service issues and resolution.

    • Respond to legal requests for file documentation associated with compliance complaints or potential lawsuits.

    • Carry out auditing tasks as required for the role.

    • Conduct benefits functions and claim administration tasks.

    • Undertake Cobra administration tasks as necessary.

    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in all aspects of the role.

    • Possess expertise in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
    • Proficient in the use of Ceridian software
    • Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings
    • Demonstrable experience with CRM systems
    • Strong auditing skills
    • In-depth understanding of benefit functions
    • Proven experience in claim administration
