    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Windows Server/Data Center Administrator to manage and maintain our data center infrastructure, Windows servers, storage solutions, and cloud environments. This role requires experience with backup solutions, virtualization technologies, Microsoft 365 suite, and cloud management. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of leading or supporting projects as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring security, performance, and uptime.
    • Oversee data center technologies, including backup solutions such as Veeam, Cohesity, and Barracuda.
    • Administer storage solutions (SAN, NAS, cloud storage), ensuring availability, scalability, and performance.
    • Support and manage virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
    • Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).
    • Maintain and secure cloud environments, ensuring compliance with best practices.
    • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect server and data center environments.
    • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
    • Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, ensuring backup integrity and recovery readiness.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, network connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation and system procedures.
    • Work on IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs and IT initiatives.
    • Provide technical leadership or support, adapting as needed for project success.


    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience managing Windows Server environments and data center technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Cohesity, Barracuda, or similar).
    • Strong knowledge of storage management (SAN, NAS, DAS, cloud storage).
    • Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, or equivalent).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune).
    • Experience managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
    • Strong understanding of security best practices to protect server and data center environments.
    • Solid understanding of server security, patch management, and compliance requirements.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and business objectives.
    • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
    • Capable of leading projects or following direction, depending on team needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
    • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, or VMware VCP.
    • Experience with Zero Trust security models and cloud security frameworks.
