    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Order Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders into the system, ensuring that all data is correct and processed in a timely manner. You will work closely with various teams, including sales, inventory, and shipping, to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately enter customer orders into the company’s order management system.
    • Verify order details such as product availability, pricing, and shipping information.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to resolve any order discrepancies or issues.
    • Ensure proper documentation of orders for future reference and follow-up.
    • Process and manage returns, exchanges, and cancellations in accordance with company policies.
    • Monitor the status of orders and provide updates to customers or internal teams as needed.
    • Assist with inventory tracking to ensure stock levels are accurate.
    • Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
    • Handle customer inquiries related to order status, tracking, and product availability.
    • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while processing orders.
    • Support other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
    • Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar administrative role.
    • Strong knowledge of order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
    • Previous experience in customer service or the retail industry is a plus.
