    We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a .NET Developer to join our team in Coconut Creek, Florida. The .NET Developer will play a vital role in optimizing our operational processes within the government industry. You will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing codes, monitoring database performance, and providing technical support within the organization.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop technical solutions based on user requirements

    • Design and develop code for .NET web applications

    • Optimize database performance and implement efficiency improvements

    • Provide support for various business applications including ERP, EDMS, and web applications

    • Create detailed documentation for applications and business processes

    • Keep up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments

    • Act as a consultant and liaison for users to ensure problems are handled appropriately

    • Provide feedback to IT managers as necessary

    • Administer and provide technical support for the city's internet and intranet sites.

    • Candidate must have a strong background in Backend Development, demonstrating the ability to handle complex data structures and algorithms.
    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in API Development is required, with a focus on designing and implementing secure, efficient, and scalable APIs.
    • Proficiency in ASP.NET is a must, with the ability to develop high-quality applications using this framework.
    • Mastery of the C# (Sharp) programming language is necessary, as the candidate will be expected to write, test, and debug code in this language frequently.
    • Extensive experience with the .NET framework is critical, as the candidate will be utilizing this platform to build software applications.
    • Familiarity with Visual Basic .Net (VB.NET) is desired, with the expectation of using this language to develop, modify, and maintain software applications.
    • Proficiency in SQL is important, with the ability to write efficient queries and manage databases.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL is a requirement, as the candidate will be working with this database management system to store, retrieve, and manipulate data.
    • Knowledge of the ASP.NET MVC Framework is essential, with the ability to design and implement applications using this model-view-controller framework.
