We are in search of a Senior Accountant with public and private industry experience to join our client in Racine county, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
• Manage financial operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare financial statements and provide analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, budgeting, audit, tax compliance, along with other month-end close duties.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing insights to help meet financial goals.
• Hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Possess thorough knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries
• Well-versed in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and report generation
• Experienced in Month End Close procedures
• Competent in using accounting software.
• CPA certified or at least CPA Eligible
• Prior experience in Public Accounting, Public Accounting Audit, Public Accounting Tax, and working in a Public Company
• Experienced in Corporate Income Tax, Corporate Tax Return, Federal Tax Return, Income Tax Return, and Individual Tax Return
