The position involves handling accounts payable procedures, along with payroll processing tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>• Efficiently and accurately conduct the accounts payable process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.<br>• Review, enter, and process vendor invoices using Accounting Software Systems, while ensuring accurate expense account coding.<br>• Collaborate with vendor partners to reconcile accounts payable transactions and promptly resolve discrepancies.<br>• Manage and execute check runs, wire transfers, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.<br>• Maintain up-to-date vendor records, including W-9 documentation for 1099 reporting.<br>• Assist in month-end closing procedures and generate AP aging reports.<br>• Work closely with internal teams to address inquiries related to accounts payable activities.<br>• Process biweekly payroll for a diverse group of employees across various departments, ensuring accuracy of timesheets and approvals.<br>• Confirm payroll deductions, including benefits, garnishments, and tax withholdings, and distribute direct deposit advices or physical paychecks as needed.<br>• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, and prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and year-end reports.<br>• Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies professionally and in a timely manner.
