    Robert Half has a client in the manufacturing industry with an opening in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for a GRC Security generalist. This role involves managing potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and assisting in the development of governance frameworks and policies. The have a small security group looking for a person to bring in an outside perspective on their current security operations and spot areas for improvement in their process and operations.


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with different departments such as the legal, IT, finance teams to ensure that risk and compliance management is coordinated.

    • Develop strategies and action plans for risk mitigation, and monitor their effectiveness.

    • Assist in the preparation for audits and regulatory inspections.

    • Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including GDPR, PCI, ISO 27001.

    • Help to design and implement governance frameworks and policies to ensure operational efficiency and security.

    • Develop and maintain documentation related to GRC activities, policies, and procedures.

    • Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management detailing risk status, compliance performance, and audit results.

    • Work with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and vendors for compliance purposes.

    • Regularly review and assess governance policies to ensure they align with corporate objectives and regulations.

    • Lead the escalation and resolution of risk and compliance issues with appropriate stakeholders.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Systems Security Administrator or in a related role within the manufacturing industry.
    • Proficiency in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) is essential.
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in cybersecurity compliance.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and their respective security concerns.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Demonstrable experience with security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex security issues to non-technical team members.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for data protection.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
    • Certification in Information Systems Security Detail Oriented (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar would be advantageous.
