We are extending an invitation for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the Property Management industry in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities including the processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, maintaining financial records, and assisting with audit preparations.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Ensuring the integrity of the check numbering system while preparing weekly check runs.
• Maintaining precise coding, input, and filing of financial documentation.
• Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and financial accounts.
• Assisting external auditors by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
• Regularly working with property accounts.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of system reports
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable experience with account reconciliation
• Previous experience in bank reconciliations is required
• Must be adept at using Yardi property management software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Knowledge of general ledger posting and monthly & year-end close processes
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
