    Paralegal / Legal Assistant – HOA Litigation Practice (Nashville, TN)

    We are actively recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Nashville, TN, seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support a partner attorney with a very active and fast-paced litigation practice focused on homeowners’ association (HOA) law. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented legal professional looking to work closely with a highly productive attorney and play an essential role in the success of the firm’s HOA practice.

    Position Overview

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing tasks and deadlines. This role requires someone who thrives in a busy environment and is comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities related to litigation, client communication, and administrative support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner directly with the attorney to prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
    • Manage and organize case files; maintain both electronic and physical records.
    • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to schedule meetings and appointments.
    • Draft and proofread contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
    • Schedule depositions, court hearings, and other litigation-related events.
    • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing calendars, and other general office support.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in HOA law.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Experience with document management systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
    • Experience with Clio software is a plus but not required.
