We are currently working with a distributor that is seeking a business analyst. The Business Analyst will work closely with management to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. This individual will play a key role in gathering requirements, documenting business needs, and ensuring that the solutions we implement align with business goals.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can guide decision-making.
- Assist with the implementation of new systems or process changes, providing support and training as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and management, to develop solutions that address business needs.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other tools to track business performance and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and organizational objectives.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of business operations, data analysis, and process improvement techniques.
- Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and/or other enterprise-level tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced level), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
