We are in search of a Network Engineer to join our team in NORWALK, Connecticut. In this role, you will be handling various responsibilities related to network administration and engineering. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity, onsite Monday- Thursday and is a 32 hour work week.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate expertise in network administration and engineering with a focus on Cisco HW/SW and best practices.
• Utilize network monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting tools effectively.
• Implement and manage network security technologies including Firewalls, VPNs, DDoS, Web filtering.
• Show proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP.
• Manage and optimize audio/video conferencing solutions utilizing QOS, and traffic shaping.
• Handle tasks involving Azure cloud networking.
• Work with Aruba wireless solutions and SAN/NAS storage environments.
• Manage DHCP, DNS, and certificate management.
• Provide support for telephony systems including VoIP, CUCM, SIP, Microsoft Teams calling.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and process management skills.
• Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is required.
• Must have experience with Checkpoint.
• Knowledge in Cisco ASA is mandatory.
• Ability to work with Cisco Routers is needed.
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is crucial.
• Experience in AB Testing is beneficial.
• Must have a good understanding of Backup Technologies.
• Proficiency in Computer Hardware is required.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management is essential.
• Experience in Datacenter is a plus.
