    Seeking a Family Law Attorney for a hybrid position in the non-profit sector. Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the firm's mission by providing high-quality legal services and advice to our clients. This role involves regular court appearances and trials in both State and Federal courts, as well as frequent interaction with clients.


    Responsibilities

    • Provide high-quality legal services to clients in family law matters

    • Represent low-income and vulnerable clients in a broad range of legal matters

    • Regularly appear in court for hearings and trials

    • Conduct client intakes, interviews, and provide advice and counsel

    • Research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations pertinent to assigned cases

    • Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, orders, discovery, and other documents for court or government agencies

    • Negotiate and draft settlement agreements

    • Conduct or participate in outreach events or activities of the unit and organization

    • Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of the legal profession

    • Utilize case management software for efficient handling of client matters

    • Handle complaint resolution and claim administration effectively.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field as an Attorney or Lawyer
    • Experience in a non-profit environment is preferred
    • Proficient in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat software
    • Familiarity with Case Management Software is required
    • Demonstrated experience in Conveyancer and Document Management
    • Proven ability to prepare legal briefings
    • Experience in Civil Litigation is necessary
    • Must have handled claim administration in previous roles
    • Skilled in complaint handling and resolving disputes
    • Knowledge of Consumer Electronics is a plus
