Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming solutions.
Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and analytical platforms on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and query tuning.
Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
Automate data workflows and deployment using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Implement data security best practices, including encryption, masking, and role-based access controls.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to provide high-quality data solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in data engineering, big data processing, or cloud data architecture.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data transformation and automation.
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake).
Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, or Flink).
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or dbt).
Understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and security principles.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and reliability.
