We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Application Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The selected individual will play a crucial role in our team, performing tasks such as troubleshooting and supporting intricate enterprise applications, maintaining database systems, and managing applications in cloud environments. This role also involves incident management and change management processes.
Responsibilities:
• Support and troubleshoot intricate enterprise applications, including custom-built applications and application upgrades.
• Maintain and manage SQL Server database systems, including the execution of complex queries and database maintenance tasks.
• Ensure system health by utilizing monitoring and diagnostic tools such as SolarWinds.
• Manage applications in cloud environments, particularly on platforms like Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Implement and oversee virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Conduct incident management tasks including ticket triaging, prioritization, resolution, and escalation.
• Execute change management processes, assessing the impact of changes, planning deployments, and implementing changes.
• Utilize advanced analytical skills to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in all application support activities, including data handling and security measures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Coordinate tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are completed successfully.
• Utilize knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools for troubleshooting and ensuring application performance.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Application Analyst
• Demonstrable proficiency in working with databases
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems is required
• Experience in Microsoft applications and software is essential
• Knowledge of AB Testing procedures and principles is necessary
• Proficiency in Active Directory management is required
• Experience in application support and troubleshooting
• Ability to understand and work with computer hardware
• Experience in Configuration Management is a prerequisite
• Proficiency in SSIS ETL tools and techniques is necessary
• Must have working knowledge of .NET C++ programming language.
