Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling software (Source: RH Acronym Guide.docx).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Familiarity with the hospitality or gaming industries is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in hospitality, gaming, or related sectors, including a comprehensive understanding of sector-specific metrics and reporting requirements.
Exposure to budgeting and forecasting for seasonal or event-driven variations common in these industries.
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday and industry-specific software platforms.

The person in this role will report to the Owner and manage a staff of 2 in accounting. Day to day responsibilities will include reviewing Accounts Payable, managing and reviewing loan draw activity, reconciling escrow, general ledger work, financial statement preparation and project cost accounting. The ideal person for the role will have a BS Degree in accounting and at least 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years of project accounting experience. Strong people skills including experience managing a team is required. The Controller will enjoy opportunity for growth, a good team environment, and 100% coverage for medical/dental insurance. This position is in office five days per week in Reno, Nevada!
