    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. IT Auditor in Hercules, California. The individual will be a part of a team in the accounting software systems industry and will contribute towards various auditing tasks and engagements.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting or supporting the completion of SOX ITGC, automated controls, and reports testing.

    • Performing complex IT internal audits, including operational and cyber security, in a highly technical environment.

    • Maintaining an objective mindset and exercising an appropriate level of professional skepticism during these audits.

    • Developing and supporting the rationale for scoping decisions.

    • Creating risk-based audit programs to ensure proper coverage of risks.

    • Timely preparing of all audit work papers, including draft findings and management reporting.

    • Staying informed about industry trends and emerging areas of IT risk, such as Cybersecurity, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Analytics.

    • Effectively communicating information and audit execution status to the internal audit management.

    • Holds a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • Has at least 5 years of recent IT audit or IT risk management experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm.

    • Holds relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM.

    • Has experience leading and supporting cybersecurity and large implementation audits in a complex public company.

    • Understands technology risks and controls relating to hardware platforms, system software, and IT operational practices.

    • Displays strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and independent judgment skills.

    • Demonstrates a customer service and teamwork-oriented atmosphere.

    • Comprehends project and program management with emphasis on technology and operational risk identification and management.

    • Has the ability to travel as needed.

    • Has knowledge and experience auditing SAP and/or other similar ERP systems.

    • Has understanding of IT architecture and network design, operating systems, database management systems, modeling, and/or data analytics tools.

    • Has experience with AuditBoard, OpsAudit, and SOXHUB platforms.
