Robert Half is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you will handle essential administrative functions, provide a welcoming atmosphere, and help ensure smooth operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and Welcoming: Serve as the face of the company, warmly greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Communication Management: Answer and manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, transferring calls as needed, and taking accurate messages.
- Administrative Support: Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling, and managing correspondence.
- Mail and Deliveries: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
- Visitor Coordination: Maintain visitor log, issue security badges (if applicable), and assist with setting up meeting rooms.
- Office Supplies: Monitor front desk supplies and assist in coordinating restocking when needed.
- Reception Area Presentation: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area to create a positive and professional impression.
- Team Collaboration: Assist other departments as needed with ad hoc administrative tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in administration or customer service are a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk professional, or customer service role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with phone systems.
- Friendly, positive demeanor with a professional appearance.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
