Our CPG client in San Leandro is seeking and interim Sr. Revenue Analyst for a 3+ month engagement. As a Sr. Revenue Analyst, you will work within the Revenue Growth Management team and work on initiatives related to sales planning, trade promotion management, and revenue growth management for the sales organization. This is a hybrid role (3 days/week onsite) and is expected to pay between $65-$75/hr. DOE.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design of reports for cross-functional use at various levels in the organization
• Guide the analyst team in identifying opportunities within customer Profit & Loss statements including trade promotions, mix management, trade damages, and markdowns
• Develop and maintain Revenue Growth Management Reporting/Dashboards, primarily within Power BI
• Lead the team in executing and communicating analytics related to Sales Spend budget in the organization
• Monitor and report on category dynamics including pricing, promotion, and portfolio across key customers
• Develop scenario planning models for elasticity analysis
• Oversee analytics team in forecasting and reconciling gaps in Bottom-up plan and budget
• Evaluate base and promoted pricing strategy and leverage findings to inform channel pricing strategy
• Lead the preparation of content & meeting templates for Sales Plan Dialogue meetings
• Project sales trade spend liability at key financial milestones such as LE, Budget, Full Year Results
• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is essential for this role.
• Candidates should be adept at using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Applicants should have a proven track record of analyzing revenues to identify trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic financial planning and forecasting is required.
• Experience in pricing analysis to inform business decisions and strategies is a must.
