Responsibilities Include:
• Oversee and manage daily accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and cost accounting across departments.
• Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting and administrative staff, providing mentorship and coaching to foster a high-performing team.
• Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and project executives to provide quarterly work in progress reports and review financial performance of ongoing projects.
• Review weekly payroll processing, union reports, dues, benefits, and deductions. Manage year-end tax filings.
• Compile information for audits and perform account analysis as needed or directed.
• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data, ensuring accurate reporting of consolidated business results.
• Oversee the payment of all accounts, ensuring timely payments for debts, bank loans, and other large financial obligations.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and operating procedures to maintain accurate records and comply with regulations.
• Oversee functions of Human Resources for the office staff and field employees.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$115,000 base salary, with opportunity for additional discretionary bonuses. • 3+ years of progressive experience, with 2+in management, required. 5-10+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related is preferred. Extensive experience could be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in using Viewpoint Spectrum software strongly preferred. Preference will be given to those with Viewpoint Spectrum experience.
