A leading consumer-focused technology company is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join its innovative healthcare team, building the future of direct-to-consumer digital care. Based onsite in Seattle, WA, this is an initial five-month contract with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion. The team is reimagining how people access common health services—offering a digital storefront for telehealth care that blends the convenience of online shopping with trusted clinical services.

    Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)

    Duration: 5 months w/ potential for extension/conversion

    Hours: 40 hours/week

    Pay Rate: $45-52/hour

This is a fast-growing and agile environment ideal for a designer who thrives in early-stage product spaces. You’ll work alongside a small design team to support the launch and refinement of user-facing healthcare services. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident taking ownership of end-to-end design execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Translate product and business requirements into intuitive, accessible user interface designs.
    • Own the final stages of design execution—documenting patterns, refining interactions, and preparing specs for engineering handoff.
    • Partner with developers, legal, and editorial teams to finalize and launch production-ready designs.
    • Lead smaller projects independently while supporting senior designers on larger, strategic initiatives.
    • Operate in 2-week agile sprints, managing multiple assignments and iterating based on feedback.
    • Ensure all designs meet visual and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA compliance) and align with design system guidance.

    Qualifications:

    • 3–6 years of experience designing UX/UI solutions for web or software applications.
    • Expertise in Figma with strong interaction design, documentation, and component creation skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
    • Proven experience in user interface design (not focused on branding or conceptual strategy).
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling feedback and engineering support.
    • Degree in Design, HCI, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
    • Previous work in healthcare or direct-to-consumer digital services is a plus.

    Who You Are:

    • You take initiative, ask the right questions, and can drive a project from concept to delivery.
    • You bring structure and executional excellence to ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
    • You’re comfortable stepping into a supportive role, alleviating workload for senior designers by owning executional details.
    • You care about creating simple, accessible designs that make digital healthcare easier to use.
