We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Sarasota, Florida!
Responsibilities:
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required.
• Handle a high volume of Accounts Payable tasks, including processing incoming bills, GL coding, obtaining approval, entering data into the system, issuing checks, and mailing out checks.
• Manage Accounts Receivable tasks, including bank deposits, applying payments, generating invoices, and performing light collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Provide input for budget preparation and get draft forms ready for review b.
• Prepare financial statements for review, requiring a strong understanding of debits/credits, assets/liabilities, and depreciation.
• Maintain W9s and Certificates of Insurance for Vendors.
• Full Charge Bookkeeper position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate should be well-versed with Bank Reconciliations.
• Solid understanding and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.
• Familiarity with Debits and Credits is necessary.
• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements is expected.
• Experience in Financial Statement Preparation is essential.
