    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage complex tax returns including corporate, franchise, and individual tax returns

    • Oversee annual income tax provisions and ensure their accurate processing

    • Use various tax software like Lacerte Tax Software for efficient tax management

    • Keep and update accurate records of all tax returns

    • Respond to customer inquiries related to tax returns and provisions

    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

    • Ensure compliance with federal tax return regulations

    • Handle trust tax returns with utmost accuracy and attention to detail

    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest standards of conduct.

    • A relevant bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • CPA license required

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or similar role, specifically within the public sector.

    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.

    • Proven ability in handling annual income tax provisions.

    • Expertise in managing individual, franchise, federal, and corporate tax returns.

    • Experience in dealing with trust tax returns.

    • Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and return.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.

    • Demonstrable understanding of current tax laws and regulations.
