We are extending an opportunity for a Cyber Security Manager in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Reston, Virginia. This role encompasses leadership of an Information Security Red Team program, integrating security considerations into IT solutions, and managing a team of information security professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and execute an Information Security Red Team program, including the recruitment and training of team members.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure security considerations are integrated into the evaluation, selection, implementation, and configuration of IT solutions.
• Represent cybersecurity interests in significant technology governance initiatives.
• Oversee operations of threat and vulnerability management, recommend mitigation strategies, and effectively communicate residual risks.
• Regularly assess and document the effectiveness of key security controls.
• Mentor and manage a group of information security professionals, including the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
• Prepare and deliver reports to management on departmental activities, key initiatives, and performance metrics.
• Utilize skills such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Firewall Technologies, AB Testing, Auditing, AWS Technologies, and Configuration Management to enhance cybersecurity operations.

• Proven experience in the Real Estate & Property industry.
• Previous role as a Cyber Security Manager or similar position.
• Proficiency in Checkpoint security solutions.
• Experience with Cisco ASA and other Cisco Technologies.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and their security aspects.
• Understanding of Firewall Technologies and their application.
• Knowledge of AB Testing procedures.
• Experience in Auditing, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
• Proficiency in AWS Technologies.
• Expertise in Configuration Management.
• Strong Cyber Security skills with the ability to develop and implement security strategies.

The role requires deep expertise in Aruba networking (including ClearPass, wireless controllers, switches) and working knowledge of Granite SDWAN and Zscaler. This position involves designing and implementing a 100% wireless solution for designated floors, managing interoperability with Cisco equipment, and adhering to security and compliance requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Aruba 6400/6300 Implementation & Migration– Phase 1: Deploy and configure Aruba 6400 core switches (VSX, VLAN routing, trunk links to Cisco Nexus 7Ks).– Phase 2: Implement Aruba 6300M switches for a 100% wireless environment on testing floors, then scale to all floors.• Configure VLANs, default routes to Granite SDWAN, and Active-Gateway (VSX) for redundancy and routing between VLANs.• Ensure compatibility and interoperability with existing Cisco Nexus 7Ks, verifying routing and transit VLAN functionality.
