    Key Responsibilities:

    • File documents electronically through CM/ECF (Case Management/Electronic Case Files).
    • Coordinate creditor meetings and hearings with attorneys, trustees, and clients.
    • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in bankruptcy law.
    • Liaise with creditors, court clerks, and trustees regarding case matters and inquiries.
    • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up to date and properly stored.


    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of consumer bankruptcy experience preferred.
    • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred; paralegal certification a plus.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Best Case Bankruptcy Software, CM/ECF filing system, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and case management software.
    • Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy laws, procedures, and court filing requirements.
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple cases, meet strict deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy in document preparation and review.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in a bankruptcy law firm or legal department.
