We are seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-filing (state & federal), calendaring, trial preparation, and client communications. Experience with discovery procedures is a plus. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle e-filing in state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court deadlines.
- Manage attorney calendaring, including deadlines, court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists.
- Conduct client intake and correspondence, maintaining professional and timely communication.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, organizing exhibits, and managing case files.
- Coordinate with court personnel, vendors, and outside counsel as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and managing case files.
