Legal Counsel (Commercial) - 9 month FTC Legal Counsel (Commercial) 9 month FTCLondon - Hybrid working The role:- Serving as a legal point of contact for the business across a wide range of matters, often with a cross-border element, including transactional and contentious work .- Drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial contracts, which may include sale and purchase, manufacture and supply, leasing and maintenance agreements- Preparing or reviewing NDAs, engagement letters, term sheets, intra-group agreements and any other documents.- Engaging, managing and coordinating external legal counsel- Conducting legal research and tracking regulatory changes to ensure company is up to date with the latest legislative and regulatory requirements- Developing and implementing legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations- Maintaining and improving corporate governance framework.- Identifying and mitigating legal risks- Maintaining a repository of executed documents- Providing any other support, including corporate secretarial support and assistance with annual filings- Liaising with the Senior Leadership Team (including General Counsel) and other internal and external stakeholders.
